On February 13th, 1996, the White County Board adopted an ordinance for assigning address numbers in White County. Within this ordinance it is stated that, "It shall be the responsibility of the owner of any structure..to place numbers on the structure..that the numbers may be easily seen and read from the opposite side of the street…".
PLEASE CLEARLY DISPLAY YOUR HOUSE NUMBERS TO AID WHITE COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICE DEPARTMENTS IN LOCATING YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS.
